KEXP BBQ 2026 Lineup To Include Ty Segall & Angine de Poitrine
A benefit for the iconic Seattle non-profit radio station and a celebration of the community. Event is all ages and tickets are available now

When those zany microtonal Canadian paper mâché cosmonauts Angine de Poitrine announced their US tour, the absence of a Seattle date was suspect at best. By all accounts, these psychedelic polka-dotted loons received their biggest boost from their KEXP session (now at over 14m views), which catapulted their name and image onto the world. It seems odd that they wouldn’t be performing in the city where the station is located. There was a blank space in their Northwest dates, so it was only a matter of time before something popped up. Now it has.
Details for the annual KEXP BBQ have just arrived, and these weirdos are part of it. AdP will share a bill with garage-psych menace, Ty Segall; English singer/songwriter, Arlo Parks; and Peruvian cumbia outfit, Los Mirlos. Joining them will be local artists like the hazy electro-indie-pop duo, Packaging, and the dream-pop project, Sea Lemon.
Although it’s referred to as a BBQ, food will not actually be included in the ticket price ($70 / $50 for youth / Kids 12 and under are free). Instead, local food vendors and trucks will be on site. For the most part, an event like this is a celebration of what the station brings to the community and the impact it has made on a global scale. The lineup reflects the diversity of music the station aims to promote, while the specific artists showcased have close ties to the station. I have a very crisp memory of standing with Ty and Cheryl Waters at night, waiting for pizza at Pickathon 10 years ago. Some of these artists and the station go way back, and all of them have participated in live sessions.
This event is mostly about the idea of community. Do I believe someone should probably flip me a burger at that price? Sure do. That said, the fee is considered more of a donation for the station. If you’re someone who feels that KEXP has added value to your life and the community, this might be your jam. If you’re a fan of Angine de Poitrine and can’t swing what their tickets are going for on the secondary market, this could be a great option for you. And if this feels out of your price range, or you simply can’t make it, the cool thing is that there is always some free event or in-studio you can hit up just because KEXP exists. Just keep your eyes peeled.
If you DO plan on attending the KEXP BBQ this year, we recommend jumping on that with the quickness. These WILL NOT LAST.
