This Saturday, November 25th, a new group exhibition curated by Beautiful Bizarre Magazine will open at Haven Gallery. Titled Reverie, this marks the 20th internationally curated exhibition for the Australian art publication, and the fifth in collaboration with the Long Island gallery, following the Serendipity group show in 2023. The upcoming show welcomes over 70 of the top international visual artists working in the worlds of underground contemporary, pop-surrealism, and beyond to “explore the Reverie theme through the lens of their unique lived experience and artistic styles ‒ while at the same time bringing the pages of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine to life.

Haven Gallery offers the following insight.

“DReverie is a state of being where one is pleasantly lost in one’s own thoughts, more commonly known as a daydream. Reverie, in this instance, offers one the chance to float away into the thoughts of artists from across the world. Spoken language fades, making way for the universal language of art to bloom in the most unique, beautiful and often bizarre ways.”

Participating artists include:
Aaron Nagel, Alex Garant, Allison Reimold, Amirata Winter, Andrew Hopgood, Annie Montgomerie, Artem Rogowoi, Brad Woodfin, Brian Mashburn, Calvin Laituri, Calvin Ma, Camilla d’Errico, Crystal Morey, Dilka Bear, Elda Serenade, Ellen Jewett, Erik Thor Sandberg, Erika Sanada, Ewa Prończuk-Kuziak, Femke Hiemstra, Gina Matarazzo, Gina Pfleegor, GIORGIKO, Hanae Nakajima, Hannah Flowers, Howard Lyon, Ito Chieko, J.
