PERSEVERANCE: 20 Years of Thinkspace Group Exhibition

More than 80 artists pay tribute to one of the most vital and consistent forces in the new contemporary art movement on their 20th anniversary.

This Saturday, January 1st, one of our favorite art galleries will celebrate their 20th anniversary by opening a new group exhibition. Since its founding in 2005, Thinkspace Projects has remained a vital and consistent force in the New Contemporary Art Movement. Titled ‘PERSEVERANCE: 20 Years of Thinkspace,’ the new show will feature contributions from over 80 international artists of varying disciplines, who helped evolve the Los Angeles gallery into the institution it has become over the last 2 decades. Many of these artists are established names that have worked with the gallery for years, while others are newer contributors that will help carry them into the future. Along with more standard contributions, there will also be 4ephemeral site-specific murals” on display.

The opening will run from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Brand Library & Arts Center in Glendale, Ca. Adding to the festivities will be a cash bar courtesy of Peroni,  DJ Venice Beats, the Burger Game food truck, live painting from AnimalItoLand, and a live screen-printing booth from Open Gallery.
