Technically, you really didn't "need" to read any of it and I'm not sure what you consider "evidence" but, one thing that I do know is that you have absolutely no grasp of what MY "goals" are. To assume my goal is to report something that you were interested in reading is beyond misguided.

I wrote about my feelings of aversion to Palahniuk and the climate that surrounded my first experiences and affected them. You're projecting a lot of your own feelings into what I was writing about, which were actually "my feelings". I don't think you have much of a place to come to my site and instruct me on how to construct an article to appease your taste. My suggestion is to learn about what you want elsewhere. If you found no place else that provided any information about the event, my alternate suggestions are to step it up in the research department or to simply be happy that you found some info that you were looking for in the middle of what I wanted to write about.

As far as Ed Norton is concerned, I don't know what your point is or what you're talking about. If Ed Norton just recently had his break out role as a neo-nazi or a magician before he made those films, then yes, it's type casting. Check out Primal Fear which is based around him having a split personality. That's a fairly specific role to play more than once so, as I stated in my original point, casting him kind of killed the element of surprise.

Thank you for posting this clip and reporting on the Snuff tour, I was upset that I missed it. However, you should really remember that your goal is to report, or else you should decide to do something else. I really didn't need to read you rambling on about what you thought of the other movies that came out the same year as Fight Club - what does that have to do with Chuck's book tour / a review of the Choke film? And if you believe that Chuck's theory holds weight, you will see that all your burns on those movies are only "methods to reaffirm that our own personal realities and perceptions are the correct versions".

Besides - Ed Norton was type-cast in the film!?!? As a man battling split-personality disorder!? That's crazy talk. I guess he's also type-cast as a neo-nazi and a magician, I don't know. And Fight Club was way better than Magnolia. Damnit all your opinionated nonsense has drawn me in, like the way Chuck says something absurd just so someone else will respond with stacks of contrary evidence! Bah!

In short, good job, but when you have something legitimately awesome to report, just report it and let it stand on its own.
