In response to your question:

The Dragoncon event lasted for 4 days, I believe. Thursday through Sunday. But, as evidenced by the bowling tournament, for some it does not end.

As far as the Bowling tournament is concerned, that just lasted for 2 hours. Then the bowling alley hired goons shooed them the hell out.

LOL deadc two years ago you would have met me at a convention (star trek) I didn’t wear a uniform but it was pretty interesting, and yep, I was the nerd in line for the Uhura autograph .

I love the article your homie wrote, it was interesting seeing the convention through his eyes. I had no idea anyone was interested in the furries, or really, to be honest, what the hell they were until I read this, lol now I know, see, the interest does expand the mind.

One question for your friend thought, how long did it last, did I miss that? Probably? I only ask because ours lasted three days, and yes, he’s right, between the customs, the films being shown, the attendees, and the different items for sale, it could get pretty scary.

If you get a chance, read The Seventh Coven, its not scifi but the magic was amazing, but not in the league of the klingons

Great story. $3k to $5k for a costume? Sounds like that whole group needs that Aunt who sent Ralphie the bunny PJs in A Christmas Story. Anyways, a few seasons ago CSI did a great episode where a murder occurred during a yiffing party, and Greshom and company got a crash course in Furrydom. Check out if you can. Wow, that was quite a read. I always wanted to go to events like these, but haven’t because part of me feels they are a bit dickie… but they are obviously quite fun!
